Miyakojima is the largest and the most populous island among the Miyako Islands of Okinawa Prefecture in Japan. The triangular-shaped island is roughly 35km from tip to tip and is famous for having some of Japan's best beaches, making the island a great destination for snorkelling, sunbathing and diving in the island’s coral reefs. The sub-tropical climate provides mild weather year around.

Kurima Bridge & Ryugujo Observatory: Visit the 1,690-meter Kurima Bridge, the longest farm road bridge in Japan, built in 1995 to connect Miyako and Kurima Islands. Panoramic views of Yonaha Maehama and Kurima Islands are also breathtaking.

It is the longest toll-free bridge in Japan. Makiyama Observatory is the highest observatory on the island, from which guest can view Kurima and Ikema Island.

Tooriike Pond: Designated an Okinawan natural monument, this mysterious, naturally-formed pond was created by erosion action on limestone by rain. Where the fresh water connects to ocean makes it a unique diving spot.
