Penang Hill with funicular cable car ride: The hill rises over 800 meters above sea level and provides a cool retreat and a good view over the island. A ride by funicular train from the foot of the hill will take you to the top.

Reclining Buddha Temple: Visit the Sleeping Buddha (Wat Chayamangkalaram). It is a Thai temple and well known due to the gold plated reclining Buddha that is as long as 33meters.

Batik Factory: It was established in 1973 with an art gallery, boutique and workshop. It now becomes one of Penang’s well known sightseeing spots and offers a wide variety of quality batik pieces.

Fort Cornwallis: The fort’s walls were named after the Governor-General in Bengal in the late 1700s. The wall is roughly 10 feet high and laid out in a star-shape formation.
