Please wear conservative dress, preferably long pants or long skirts. Or to rent a scarf at entrance at RM3 (current price).]

Discover Putrajaya (No meals)

Putrajaya is Malaysia's latest Federal Territory and the government buildings are a blend of modern architecture with Islamic arts while the streets are elegantly designed with a European feel, creating a tranquil and peaceful ambience.

Perdana Putra (external façade): It houses the main administrative offices of the Malaysia government. It features striking green domes and its main block is decorated with stone carvings and wrought iron with motifs of the bunga raya or hibiscus, the national flower.

Putrajaya International Convention Center (photo stop): The design idea is based on the shape of the eye of 'pending perak' (a silver Malay royal belt buckle). From the front view, the building's eaves or wings are lifted at the sides, creating broad overhanging over the raking wall.

Masjid Putra: Its trademark pink domes are one of Putrajaya’s popular landmarks. What gives Putra Mosque an alluring pinkish hue is rose-tinted granite, the mosque is modeled after the Persian Islamic architecture of the Safavid period.
