Is it true all guests have to also undergo a COVID-19 test prior to boarding at the terminal? Is this compulsory?

All guests aged 13 years old & above cruising on World Dream will be required to undergo the mandatory COVID-19 testing at the cruise terminal.

What is the process like?

i) Guests will be provided in advance with an appointment time to undergo the mandatory COVID-19 test at the cruise terminal on the day of the departure.

ii) Guests will be required to wait at the cruise terminal for the results available within 1 hour.

iii) Guests tested negative for COVID-19 may proceed for check-in or return to the cruise terminal at the designated check-in time.

iv) Guests tested positive for COVID-19 will be prohibited from checking-in / cruising and isolated for further examination by the local health authorities.

If a guest is tested positive for COVID-19 at the terminal or prior to sailing, will the guest be able to get a full refund?

Yes, guest will be entitled to a Cruise Credit for future sailings.

(Note: Guest will be required to pay for the COVID-19 test for the future sailing, as he / she had used up the current COVID-19 testing charges.

If a guest is either detected with high fever / respiratory symptoms at the terminal or do not meet the health declarations criteria or tested positive for COVID-19, will he / she be denied check-in / boarding? Will the guest be compensated?

Yes, guests that do not meet the stringent criteria will be denied check-in / boarding and a Cruise Credit voucher will be provided for future sailings.

If a guest is traveling in a group and tested positive for COVID-19 at the terminal will all guests of the traveling group be declined boarding?

Immediate family members and close contact traveling partners will be prohibited from check-in / boarding and subject to further evaluation by the onsite medical health officials. A Cruise Credit voucher will be provided for future sailings.

I have taken a COVID-19 test awhile back. Do I need to take the COVID-19 Test at Marina Bay Cruise Centre again?

All guests are required undergo the mandatory COVID-19 test at the cruise terminal by Genting Cruise Lines’ appointed medical team registered under the Singapore Ministry of Health.

Any other COVID-19 tests that are not taken at the cruise terminal on the day of departure will not be recognised.

If guests are required to do the mandatory COVID-19 testing at the terminal, how early do we need to arrive at the terminal?

What type of COVID-19 test would it be and who will be conducting the testing? What is the procedure like?

An antigen nasal swab test (SD Biosensor Rapid Antigen test) will be conducted by a medical group registered under the Singapore Ministry of Health
